"Thank you"

So I sent this email out to pretty much everyone but I am posting it here too just because I think it's pretty important. I always want to say something when I see a soldier and never quite know what to say or do, and I always end up wishing I had, and I always tear up too. Something about soldiers makes me cry. Weird. Anyway, I'm going to try and start doing this.

One time on a flight home at Christmas we had the airlines asking us to give up our seats for some soldiers who needed to get home. A lot of people did before I even thought about it. Another time we had a soldier on board who had a close connecting flight so the flight attendant just asked us if everyone could remain seated to let him off the plane first so he could make his next flight, so when we landed everyone stood up and started clapping and everything while he ran off the plane. At the beginning of the L.A. marathon there were lines of soldiers there just cheering us on and giving high fives and my eyes just started watering! It's so crazy. Anyway, follow the link below. I'm freakin' crying right now. This is pathetic.
